Aberdevine Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
At Aberdevine, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in our products and in our responsibility to the environment, supply chain, and values.
Scope: This policy applies to all activities carried out by Aberdevine.
Protecting Our People: We prioritise working with a small and discerning team. Our designs originate in Yorkshire, England where our founder is also based and personally carries out all alterations and personalisation. Production is carried out in our trusted Polish atelier, and we work with a skilled seamstress locally in England - with an ongoing commitment to growing our team of skilled lingerie makers here in the UK. By working with carefully chosen artisans, we ensure that everyone involved in creating our garments is fairly compensated and respected for their skills. Our atelier in Poland employs six seamstresses and was established by a local seamstress in response to larger manufacturers that only pay minimum wage. We are committed to providing safe and fair working conditions for all those in our supply chain by personally selecting our partners and regularly visiting our atelier. All partnerships and working relationships are personally overseen by our founder, ensuring that Aberdevine's values are upheld at every stage of production.
Protecting Our Customers: We are committed to providing our customers with the necessary information to make sustainable and responsible purchases. From detailed information on the website, precise labelling to our afterlife program, we aim to empower our customers to make informed choices.
Protecting Our Planet: Becoming a fully circular business is a key focus for Aberdevine. We strive to use environmentally friendly practices in all stages of our production process. For more details, please refer to our environmental policy statement.
Product: This includes durable, high-end designs and construction, sourcing all components within the continent, and using regenerated lace, recycled components, and natural plant dyes wherever possible. We encourage our customers to return old bra and we will reuse components wherever possible, rather than throwing them away.
Packaging and Postage: At Aberdevine we have committed to using only recycled and recyclable unbleached boxes in letterbox size, as well as paper wrapping, in order to reduce plastic pollution. For deliveries within the UK, we use Royal Mail or InPost, and for worldwide deliveries, we use FedEx or InPost as our research shows that they have the lowest environmental impact.
Charity: For every item purchased from Aberdevine, we donate £1.00 directly to charity. For 2026, we are supporting the Helmsley Walled Garden in the North York Moors by contributing to the planting and care of a wildflower patch to support biodiversity.
Continuous Improvement: We are committed to continuously improving all aspects of our business, including our CSR practices. We regularly review and update our policies to meet the highest standards of sustainability and ethical business practices.
At Aberdevine, we believe that our CSR efforts are essential to our mission of creating beautiful, high-quality lingerie while making a positive impact on the world. We are committed to upholding these values and invite our customers, employees, and partners to join us in our journey towards a more sustainable future.
